the okc thunder: pg13

talent welcome case study

the OKC Thunder continues to push boundaries and set new standards across the NBA. by developing true signature experiences the OKC Thunder re-enforces their progressive brand vision and foundational values both internally and externally. we continue to help the OKC Thunder write this exciting brand narrative.

building on the success of the Russell Westbrook MVP campaign we were challenged to develop a strategy for welcoming a new, high-profile talent. the Paul George trade was a big deal in the press so it needed a disruptive experience to make a meaningful impression and further demonstrate the OKC Thunder at its very best.

creating the concept of ThunderFWD, we developed a multi-layered campaign to welcome the player, showcase the city and heighten momentum for the upcoming season.

an eco-system of social media, digital, print, billboards, collateral, events created a game changing brand experience that further writes the OKC Thunder narrative and separates it from the rest of the NBA.
